My life and leadership are rooted in restoration.

​

With over 25 years of experience in child welfare, teaching, leadership development, and organizational transformation, my work has always centered on one mission: to help people and systems heal so they can thrive.

​

My professional journey began in the heart of child welfare — walking alongside families through some of life’s hardest seasons. Over time, I served as a frontline social worker, trainer, and eventually as a Child Welfare Services Administrator, leading teams, building programs, and shaping strategies that changed lives.

 

However, my story is also deeply personal.

​

In 2014, a heart attack — which doctors called “stress-related” — became my greatest teacher. I had spent years excelling, serving, and giving, yet I had neglected the most essential relationship of all: the one with myself.

​

That moment became my awakening — the spark that gave birth to Shine On! Training & Consulting. Through that experience, I discovered a truth that guides everything I do.

​

Healing begins within. Leadership begins with love. Transformation begins when we give ourselves permission to shine.

To guide individuals and organizations on their journey toward restoration — helping them reconnect to purpose, realign with values, and lead with empathy, courage, and authenticity.
